Above you can purchase EAN-13 retail barcodes for all retail products (except books and magazines).
If you need a book barcode, magazine barcode or a UPC Barcode then please click through these links. The difference between UPC and EAN-13 barcodes can be seen here.
Please see our Barcode Registration page for information on the advantages of barcode registration. This is an additional optional service we include with our barcode packages.
Using your barcode:
Once you receive your barcode and image files, assign the barcode number to your product. Add the barcode image in the product packaging design or forward the barcode images to your graphic designer or printer. Keep track of which barcode number you have used on which product. Barcodes cannot be reused on different products.
Barcode Size
The official minimum size of a retail barcode is 80% which is approximately 30x20mm. The smaller they are the more printing and scanning problems there may be. Some stores (mainly supermarkets) can ask you to test the barcode before they accept the product. See our barcode specifications page for more details.
You do not need to supply any product information to use. You can just assign the barcodes to your products however you want. Retailers will receive your product and scan the barcode and information into their system the first time so that when it is scanned from that point onwards, the product information will appear.
